Waiting on Apple Before Release

If you’ve been following my recent work, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been talking a lot about music software, audio tools, and experimental plugin ideas, but haven’t actually released anything yet. Trust me, that part is driving me insane too. Humanity managed to invent synthesizers that can simulate collapsing stars, but somehow developer account verification still feels like filing taxes at the DMV.

Right now, the biggest thing holding everything up is my Apple developer account.

I’m currently waiting for Apple to finish resolving an issue with my developer setup before I can properly release VST plugins, standalone music tools, and macOS-compatible software. Since a huge portion of musicians and producers use Macs, I don’t want to launch projects in a half-finished state where part of the audience is immediately locked out or forced into workarounds.

Rather than rushing something out incomplete, I’m using this time to keep building.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on experimental audio effects, synth-focused tools, and software designed around the way I actually create music. A lot of these projects sit somewhere between traditional music software and creative experimentation. Some are practical. Some are weird. A few probably should not exist, which usually means they’re worth exploring.

My goal has never been to make generic “content creator” plugins or copy what already exists. I’m much more interested in creating tools that feel inspiring to use, especially for ambient, cinematic, experimental, and synth-driven music.

This delay has also given me more time to refine the overall direction of these projects. Good software takes iteration. Good music does too. Most creative tools become interesting after the rough edges start turning into identity.

Once the Apple account issue is resolved, I’ll begin releasing projects publicly, including:

  • Audio effects plugins
  • Experimental music tools
  • Standalone creative software
  • Early prototypes and public experiments

Some of these releases will likely be rough, niche, and highly specific to the way I work creatively. That’s intentional. I’d rather build tools with personality than endlessly chase “professional industry standard” sameness until every plugin looks like accounting software with knobs.

In the meantime, I’ll continue sharing progress updates, development experiments, music, and behind-the-scenes work here on the site.

Thanks for sticking around while I wait for one of the largest technology companies on Earth to approve the digital equivalent of a permission slip.
